THE DOE FUND
Columbus created a new home in an old building for the Doe Fund, which operates the Ready, Willing, and Able (RWA) program in the city. The program, “breaks the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and criminal recidivism by providing paid transitional work, occupational training, housing, and comprehensive support services to homeless individuals.”
The Doe Fund’s Bella Vista location, comprehensively renovated by Columbus, provides transitional housing, meals, and job training for men in the RWA program. Columbus provided a complete re-make of the building, from interior demolition to finishing touches.
